The Riverbarn Restaurant enjoys an excellent reputation for its imaginative and flavoursome cooking. ‘A La Carte’ or ‘Prix Fixe’ menus are available. Popular ‘Tasting Menu’ events are held throughout the year. An ‘Alfresco Menu’ is also available in the warmer months of the year! The Wine List boasts a number of fine wines. Sample menus can be viewed on-line where guests can reserve a table via ‘Opentable’.

Chef Brothers – Jonny Sutcliffe [Head Chef] & Tom Sutcliffe [Sous Chef]

With youngest son, Jonny, who trained at two acclaimed Michelin Starred restaurants they are blessed with his first rate knowledge, experience and his attention to detail.
Jonny gained his early experience at The Goose in Britwell Salome, Oxfordshire where he worked under Head Chef, James Maclean. Roux Scholar 2005, Matthew Tomkinson took over as Head Chef and later moved to The Montagu Arms, Beaulieu where Jonny was ask to join him. He owes a great deal to both chefs, whose experience and skill have helped him develop his passion for British ingredients using classical French cooking techniques. Jonny joined his brother Tom, also an accomplished chef, in the family business becoming Head Chef in 2010. Together the brothers have gained a significant local following for their award winning cookery.
